Most speaker bureaus will not tell you a fee until you ask. On NXT Speaker every listed speaker publishes theirs in rand, so the numbers below come straight from the directory, refreshed every hour.

What moves a speaker’s fee
- Demand and profile: speakers who are booked often, or well known outside events, charge more.
- Preparation: a talk written for your audience costs more than a talk the speaker already gives.
- Format and length: a 20-minute virtual session and a half-day workshop are different jobs.
- Travel: a speaker in your city avoids flights and accommodation. Filter by city to find one.
Budgeting for the whole booking
The published fee is for the talk. Speaker requirements (travel, accommodation, AV, catering) are listed on each profile, so you see them before you book. Organisers pay no booking fee on NXT Speaker; speakers pay a 15% platform fee and keep 85%.
