Find speakers
Browse by topic, city, fee, language and format. Every profile shows the fee in rand, topics, languages and where the speaker is based. Shortlist the ones you like and share the list with your team.

Send a brief
Tell us about your event, audience, date and budget in four short steps. No account needed. If you came from a speaker's profile, the brief names them.

The speaker accepts
The speaker reviews your request. You see their requirements (travel, AV, catering) before you commit, and you can message them on the platform.

Pay securely
Once the speaker accepts, you pay through the platform by card. Yoco processes the payment and NXT Speaker holds it.

The talk happens
After the event is marked complete, there is a short window to raise a problem before anyone is paid.

The speaker is paid
The speaker's share becomes due 7 days after the event is marked complete. You can then review the speaker; only organisers who booked can.
Common questions
Do organisers pay a booking fee?
No. You pay the speaker's published fee and nothing on top. NXT Speaker's commission comes out of the speaker's side.
When does the speaker get my money?
You pay through the platform once the speaker accepts. The payment is held by NXT Speaker, processed by Yoco, and only paid out to the speaker after your event has been delivered.
What if a speaker cancels?
If a speaker cancels a paid booking, your payment is refunded. The full cancellation and refund rules are on our refunds page.
Can I talk to the speaker before I book?
Yes. Send a brief describing your event, audience, date and budget. It goes to the speaker, not to an agent, and you can chat on the platform once a booking request exists.
What are speaker requirements?
Things a speaker needs on the day, such as travel, AV setup and catering. Each speaker lists theirs once on their profile, so you see them before you book.
Are fees really shown upfront?
Yes. Every listed speaker shows their fee in rand. There is no "contact us for pricing".
